Job Description:
Adjunct faculty:
Will develop and teach in the assignedsubject(s) and level(s) in new or existing programs.
Will fulfill administrative requirements, meet established deadlinesand complete required training.
Expected to stay current in compliance training, including complianceunder Title IX “Responsible Employee” and, if applicable, Clery ActCampus Security Authority as a condition of employment.
Will agree to and follow appropriate College and department policiesand procedures.
Schedule varies. Days, evenings and Saturday hours are possible.
Possible class locations include CLCGrayslake Campus, Southlake Campus (VernonHills) or Lakeshore Campus (Waukegan), Braeloch Facility,CLCAdvancedTechnology Center (Gurnee) or aCLCextension site.
Possible delivery modes include in-person, virtual live via Zoom, asynchronous, or ahybrid of the aforementioned. In-person is most common.

Hiring Range: $25.00-90.00/hour

The number of adjunct faculty hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Adjunct faculty hires and assignments are coordinated by the department chairs.
