Position Overview

Westminster Choir College of Rider University seeks an instructor of organ. The successful candidate will teach applied lessons to undergraduate and graduate students with organ as their primary instrument and to students studying organ as an elective. Additional opportunities (for additional compensation via stipend) may include serving as Organ Program Director, High School Summer Organ Institute faculty, and for playing for concerts and special events.

The rate of pay will commensurate with the candidates experience and education.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated ability as a master organist
• Demonstrated ability and experience in teaching organ to students with a variety of skill levels
• Ability to work well with others
• Highly Organized
• MM Music
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
