Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking applicants for an adjunct faculty teaching classes related to high-volume printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing within the MEMS bachelors degree. The adjunct faculty will be responsible for, but not limited to:Delivering on-campus lecture and hands-on laboratories related to semiconductor manufacturing: Operating and programming automated PCB manufacturing equipment such as stencil printing, surface mount technology (SMT) pick & place, and reflow. Operating and programming automated PCB inspection equipment such as solder paste inspection (SPI), automated optical inspection (AOI), and x-ray inspection. Reworking Ball Grid Array (BGA) PCB using semi-automated rework equipment and x-ray inspection. Designing a PCB using Altium Design software including a PCB containing a microcontroller that is capable of being programmed within a class. Working with coordinator to optimize delivery of lab and lecture content. Performing setup, operation, teardown, shutdown, and cleanup of all equipment, materials, and tooling used in MEMS bachelors high-volume PCB labs and design labs. Grading quizzes, homework, and exams using Canvas. Working with LCCC administration and staff for extracurricular events such as tours or live demonstrations.
