University College Department daVinci Center Duties & Responsibilities -------------------------

Teaching responsibilities include instructing undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the VCU da Vinci Centers. Undergraduate Certificates, Masters in Product Innovation and Human-Centered Design courses.

Qualifications -------------

Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 5 years relevant work experience.
• Experience and knowledge of design thinking principles.
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience.
• Masters or Ph.D. degree.
• Experience with design thinking principles and training programs, innovation, and entrepreneurship-based curriculum development, and mentoring and coaching students.

Salary Range ------------

A minimum of $1437 per credit hour.
