<>MassBay Community College seeks a qualified part-time AdjunctFaculty beginning in spring 2025 and for future semesters to teach courses in HealthcareDelivery Systems Pharmacology Soft Skills for Medical ProfessionalsElectronic Health Records Health Career Exploration Medical AssistantMedical Office and Phlebotomy courses. The ideal candidate will join a vibrantand inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work witha diverse population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching and promoting success among adiverse student population. The Health Studies adjunct faculty teachescourses and skill development didactically. Students who enroll in thesecourses are typically in programs such as Medical Coding Medical OfficeAdministrative Assistant Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy but individuals outsideof these programs may take some of these courses. Some courses are delivered onlineand some may be taught face-to-face or in the hybrid modality.The adjunct faculty must have a healthcare background andexpertise suitable to teach the course content. The candidate must be aneffective communicator be able to assess students objectively and work as ateam. The adjunct faculty has obtained appropriate certification whereapplicable and has earned appropriate education in a health-related profession. Opportunities exist for working with otherclinical-based programs depending on the candidates additional clinicalcertifications.
