Adjunct Faculty - Early Childhood Education [POOL] Recruitment #: F- JECE Review Date: Review as needed | Ongoing Department: Division of Teacher Education Salary Rate: Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with [WOUFT CBA ] Department/ Position Summary: The Division of Teacher Education at Western Oregon University invites qualified applicants to teach open class sections in Early Childhood Education. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and may include an excellent benefits package. Candidates will join a rapidly growing and dynamic Early Childhood Education (ECE) program dedicated to inclusive practices and social justice. The Early Childhood program offers three bachelor's degree options; an Early Childhood Studies major ( non-licensure) BS, an Early Childhood Studies major (non-licensure) BAS , and an Early Childhood Studies major (Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education licensure concentration) BS . The ECE program is part of the Division of Teacher Education in the College of Education, nationally recognized for its leadership in evidence-based teacher preparation. Please Note: This is a pool position, which means applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to build a qualified candidate pool. Selected applicants may be contacted as openings become available. Responsibilities: • Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats, with possible opportunities for summer and off-campus teaching • Supervise clinical experiences and prepare students to interact effectively with children and families in inclusive Early Childhood settings • Participate in curriculum review and development including activities related to accreditation and program delivery • Collaborate in the growth of the Early Childhood teacher education program Required Qualifications: Please ensure your application materials clearly demonstrate how you meet the following: • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field • Evidence of at least three years of successful, early childhood (birth - 4th grade) teaching experience in educational settings How to Apply: To apply for this position, please upload the following required materials within the application portal.
