Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Economics has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. We are looking for the support of highly qualified, capable, and experienced adjunct instructors able to teach in-person courses on our Hawk Hill campus.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance to students
Instruct an assigned course, providing syllabi and other instructional materials
Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:
Cooperating with the department chair or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Master’s Degree in Economics or a closely related field and previous teaching experience of ECN101 and/or ECN102
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in economics, previous teaching experience, and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
