Description

Grays Harbor College (GHC) seeks candidates to teach an in-person College 101 course (COLL101) part-time at the Columbia Education Center in Ilwaco, WA. This course is designed to help student explore career options, set meaningful academic and career goals, and create an academic plan to achieve their goals.

GHC accepts applications for adjunct faculty (part-time) positions on an ongoing basis to establish a qualified pool of applicants. The applicant pool is created for future, part-time professor appointments for the individual program or course indicated. This announcement will serve as an open and continuous applicant pool. Appointment availability varies from quarter to quarter. Candidates selected from the pool will be contacted for an interview by the division should a vacancy arise.

This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position and not eligible for benefits. The part-time compensation for classroom instruction shall be $937.46 per quarter load hour. Faculty positions at Grays Harbor College have been designated as bargaining unit positions represented by the Grays Harbor College Federation of Teachers, Local 4984. The faculty union and the college have a bargaining unit agreement (referred to as the contract) that is posted on the GHC website athttps://www.ghc.edu/hr/labor-relations

Qualifications

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution required.
