The opportunityUnity is seeking an Adaptive Planning Analyst to join our Finance Transformation & Systems team, embedded as a key partner to the Finance organization. In this role, you will spend your time configuring Workday Adaptive Planning models, collaborating with finance partners to troubleshoot data flows, and exploring AI-driven efficiencies to streamline monthly reporting and forecasting.The ideal candidate is someone who builds deep trust with Finance stakeholders, communicates technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences, and takes pride in the reliability and quality of the systems they support.What you'll be doingDesign, build and optimize Adaptive Planning models, including personnel sheets, modeled sheets, cube sheets and global assumptions.Manage and troubleshoot integrations between Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials.Own the creation and maintenance of dimensions, attributes and accounts (e.g., sales channel, project, channel, headcount type) used to slice and filter planning data.Partner with the FP&A team as the OfficeConnect expert to resolve report errors, build custom ad-hoc reports and reconcile data.Build, test and deploy Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports utilizing appropriate Data Sources and Business Objects across Financials, HCM or Payroll modules in Workday.Maintain accurate and up-to‑date system documentation, including configuration guides, business process flows, and training materials.Collaborate with the broader Enterprise Systems team on cross‑functional initiatives involving Workday HCM, Workday Financials, Integrations, and third‑party connected systems.What we're looking forHands‑on experience in Workday Adaptive Planning or Workday Financials configuration and support experience in a business analyst, functional analyst capacity or consulting.Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or Google Gemini) and an understanding of how they can be applied to automate financial analysis or data preparation.Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple open requests and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.Collaborative approach to problem‑solving, with a track record of building trusted relationships with Finance business partners.Understanding of core finance and accounting concepts (GAAP, month‑end close, AP/AR workflows, expense management).Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.Additional informationRelocation support is not available for this position.Work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.BenefitsAt Unity, we want our team members to thrive.
