Reporting to the Director, Employee Accommodation Services (Director), the ADA Case Manager II provides compliance and analytical support for enterprise-wide ADA compliance programs and initiatives. The role assists with compliance reviews, evaluates basic compliance concerns, and supports the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies within established guidelines. The position is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate compliance records, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing documentation for leadership review and approval. Working under supervision with some decision-making authority, the ADA Case Manager II performs assigned compliance functions in support of one or more programs. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of applicable regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of experience in appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description:

Compliance Review & Case Management
• Review and process notifications from multiple systems to conduct routine ADA compliance assessments
• Make determinations regarding risk mitigation actions or escalation to leadership, as appropriate
• Document findings and ensure proper case resolution in accordance with established procedures
• Serve as a point of contact for employees requesting reasonable accommodations under the direction of the Director and Senior Director, Compliance/ADA-504 Coordinator (Senior Director)
• Assist with coordinating the interactive process in accordance with established ADA procedures
• Review accommodation requests and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance with UF policies
• Coordinate meetings, information sessions, and communications with employees, supervisors, UFHR, and other campus partners
• Document meetings, discussions, case management and other activities taken throughout the interactive process and the management of employee accommodation cases.
• Draft accommodation-related documentation for review and approval
• Assist with monitoring implementation of approved accommodations
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic case files, logs and tracking records

Records Management & Documentation
• Maintain and update compliance records, including case files, logs, and compliance calendars
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely entry of all compliance-related documentation
• Prepare and organize documentation for audits, reviews, and reporting purposes
• Review ADA-related files to confirm required documentation and case notes are present, and that other identified steps have been completed.
• Compile documentation and data in support of appeals, compliance reviews, audits and assessments.
• Generate routine reports related to accommodation requests, case activity and compliance metrics.

Risk Evaluation & Solution Support
• Evaluate basic compliance concerns and identify potential risks
• Propose solutions to senior staff and program leadership for consideration
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of approved mitigation strategies

Reporting & Data Support
• Gather and compile data for compliance reports and enterprise initiatives
• Assist in tracking trends, identifying recurring issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts
• Provide documentation and data summaries to support leadership decision-making

Administrative & Program Support
• Prepare and route documents and mitigation plans for leadership review and approval
• Perform administrative duties in support of the ADA compliance program
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to privacy standards

Expected Salary:

$61,000-$70,000

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of experience in appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

• Experience working with ADA compliance, disability services, or accessibility programs
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations such as ADA and Section 504
• Experience handling compliance reviews, case management, or regulatory tracking systems
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices (e.g., digital, physical, programmatic access)
• Experience analyzing compliance data and identifying trends or risks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for preparing documentation and reports
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams or supporting enterprise-wide initiatives
• Proficiency with databases, case management systems, or compliance tracking tools
• Ability to interpret policies and apply them to routine compliance scenarios
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases or deadlines
