Seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact leading a high-volume accommodations team aligned with ADA and ADAA standards? Spectrum is seeking a Supervisor to oversee ADA accommodations and guide accommodation coordinators in their daily workflow. In this pivotal role, you will monitor service responsiveness and quality, ensuring Spectrum's policies are upheld and team goals are achieved. Your leadership will strengthen our HR operations and enhance the service experience for employees and partners company wide.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead and provide direct supervision to Accommodation Coordinators, delivering Tier 2 support
  • Oversee and manage lower, mid-tier and escalated accommodation cases, ensuring end-to-end case management including implementation and follow-up using Spectrum's accommodations tool
  • Escalate issues promptly to guarantee effective resolution while remaining actively engaged
  • Support the functional HR work team, cross-training coordinators as needed and providing backup as required
  • Apply knowledge of HR programs, onboarding and benefit plans to resolve employee concerns swiftly
  • Engage key partners including HR Business Partners, Health Care Providers, Vendor Partners and Employment Law teams to coordinate accommodations
  • Review medical information to determine ADA eligibility in accordance with federal, state and Spectrum guidelines
  • Monitor compliance performance, analyze metrics, generate reports and recommend improvements based on data
  • Foster strong relationships with staff, ESC leaders, HR business partners, hiring managers, benefits, recruiting, security, legal and vendors to meet service agreements
  • Investigate discrepancies and follow up with employees, HR or legal to resolve pending accommodation requests
  • Maintain expertise in business systems such as Oracle, Kronos, HR Helpdesk and Excel to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Deliver ongoing performance feedback to accommodation coordinators and management
  • Identify performance issues and collaborate with the Employee Services Center Manager to implement performance improvement plans
  • Assist with training new hires, participate in interviews and oversee team scheduling
  • Ensure updating and accurate maintenance of required documentation

What You'll Bring to Spectrum

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent training, education and experience
  • Experience: 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in HR Shared Services or operations center
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Analytical and process skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain confidentiality
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle HCM
  • In-depth understanding of FMLA, STD and leave processing
  • Experience supervising people or third-party vendors
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: PHR certification or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience: 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
