Acute Occupational Therapist

A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist for a permanent position. The hospital serves the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, offering a broad range of services including medical, surgical, rehabilitation, a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging and lab services.

The role. The Occupational Therapist will provide acute care OT services within the hospital's inpatient setting, working with a diverse patient population across the facility's wide range of clinical units. The position involves evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention tailored to acute care patients, supporting functional recovery and discharge readiness. Candidates should be prepared to work across the hospital's medical, surgical, and specialty units as patient needs require.

What we're looking for.

• Minimum 2 years of acute care Occupational Therapy experience
• BLS certification required upon submission
• All other required certifications can be obtained after hire
• Active New Mexico licensure or Compact licensure required prior to start date (candidates without current New Mexico or Compact licensure are welcome to apply)

Schedule. This position follows a 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM shift.

Compensation. $32.43 - $51.88/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
