Qualifications
Board-certified nurse practitioner.
Hospitalist experience required.
Flexible Scheduling
Shifts for the night position in observation are scheduled from 7 pm to 7 am for admissions rounding and discharges.
Key Responsibilities
As a nocturnist APP, you will perform admissions as well as cross coverage alongside 2 nocturnist physicians.
The observation unit is very fast-paced, and we are looking for individuals who can handle an ever-changing environment.
Our hospitalist team is pivotal in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes.
All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
There are no procedural requirements.
We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
We work in Meditech, an expandable web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Compensation
Nocturnist shift - $150,000 to $165,000 yearly plus incentives.
$25,000 commencement bonus offered for our nocturnist position.

If they have a question or need another set of eyes on the patient, the physician is there to do that.
