2nd and 4th Sunday, 1st shift (9am-12pm) and As Needed for Team Coverage
As the Activity/Life Enrichment Assistant, you will assist in implementing a variety of educational and recreational programs with the intent of fostering independence of the residents regarding their physical, mental, social, and emotional needs. Experience and/or education in programming, organizing, and working with older adults is required. Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as tact and courtesy when working with staff and residents, are essential. Ability to keep accurate and clear records according to Luther Manors policies is also necessary.
Ability to work independently, have flexibility, and effectively collaborate with all staff, residents, and families is crucial. Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, in accordance with resident needs and desires is also required. Prioritizing tasks and being organized are vital skills for this role.
