Job Summary:

We are looking for a certified personal trainer to join our organization and implement training programs for our clients. The personal trainer is responsible for accurately assessing clients at the start of their journey, compiling reports, and developing their fitness levels. They should be able to assist clients in reaching their goals, and have a passion and drive for health, wellness, and fitness.

To be successful as a personal trainer, you should stay up to date with the latest trends in the fitness industry and provide solutions to your client's fitness needs. Fitness Instructor Responsibilities:

Support the development and delivery of fitness programs.

Assist members in reaching individual goals.

Assist in maintaining and improving the goals of the organization.

Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions.

Conduct an initial assessment of clients' body measurements using multiple modalities.

Monitor BMI and HR on a regular basis.

Motivate clients who have reached a plateau in weight loss.

Work closely with our dieticians and wellness coaches to develop multi discipline plans

Personal Trainer Requirements:

Licensure:

Personal Training Certification from an accredited body within 30 days of hire. ACSM, ACE, NSCA is preferred.

CPR Certification within 30 days of hire

Current driver's license is required to travel to assigned sites

Experience: Previous experience as a personal trainer is a plus

Education: College Degree preferable in the field of Exercises Science or Kinesiology.

Other:

Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.

Demonstrates an extremely high level of interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with all.

Requires:

Ability to issue clear and succinct verbal directions.

Excellent record-keeping skills.

A knack for conducting lessons that cater to all fitness levels.

Vibrant and personable disposition.

Job Summary

The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging activities and recreational programs that enhance the well-being, social interaction, and quality of life of patients and residents. This role supports therapeutic goals by encouraging participation, promoting independence, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment tailored to diverse patient populations.

Essential Functions

  • Plans and facilitates individual and group activities that promote cognitive stimulation, physical movement, socialization, and emotional well-being.
  • Adapts programs to meet a variety of functional levels, interests, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team members to incorporate patient needs, preferences, and care plans into activity offerings.
  • Assists in developing calendars, tracking participation, and maintaining necessary supplies and equipment for activities.
  • Observes and reports patient responses and engagement levels, adjusting activities as needed to ensure inclusivity and benefit.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all activity participants.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding activity programs and patient progress.
  • Provides basic patient support and supervision during activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Documents activity participation and relevant observations in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to enhance program quality and personal development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including at least one year coordinating activities preferred or
  • 1-3 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in a long-term care or behavioral health setting preferred
