Activity Assistant - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY:

Activity Assistants work with the residents to provide social programming as well as assist with various non-clinical resident needs throughout the day. Activity Assistants coordinate internal and external entertainment and events. Activity Assistants also complete charting per state and federal guidelines.

Hours: 16 per week every other weekend and holidays are required

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Plans and conducts activity programming
• Completes required / assigned charting
• Facility crafting and decorating
• Light baking as part of activity programming or for special events
• Light cleaning and organizing of activity spaces and resident rooms
• Assisting in dining rooms
• Concierge services
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; and
• One or more years of progressively responsible related experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid driver's license
• C.P.R. Certification
• Nursing Assistant Certification (desirable)
