About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Director to join our team at AdviniaCare Providence. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programming to meet the individual physical, cognitive, social, and recreational needs of our residents. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programming to meet individual physical, cognitive, social, and recreational needs
Design and lead activities and events to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a comprehensive care plan for each resident
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Maintain accurate records and reports
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred
Long Term Care Certification preferred
At least two years of long-term care experience preferred
