Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team!

What You'll Do

• Assist with planning and implementing daily activities, events, and outings
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in group and individual activities
• Help decorate for holidays, special events, and themed programs
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Assist with maintaining activity calendars and documentation
• Support residents' emotional, social, cognitive, and physical well-being
• Create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, caregiving, or senior care is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, energetic, and dependable
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus
