We are looking for an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment for our Assisted Living Community.

• Part-time 22.5 hours a week, schedule includes 1 weekend shift. 
• $15.50 to $17.21 per hour based on skills and experience.

Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Activities experience with older adults preferred, but not required.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Ability to work well with a team as well as the ability to work independently.   

  Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Job Summary:

• Assist with coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs. 
• Provide hands-on involvement in programs for the majority of their scheduled time.
• Assist in the supervision, orientation, and planning of volunteers.
• Assist in the coordination of the calendar events.
• Assist in the evaluation of the residents wellness needs-exploring the opportunities for resident engagement within the six dimension; purposeful, emotions, physical, spiritual, social and intellectual.
• Assist in projecting monthly expenditures.
• Assist in ensuring specialty programs are scheduled.
• Assist with marketing, promoting and communicating materials, helping to ensure professional quality.
• Assist in maintaining community environment (including equipment and supplies).
• Assist in ensuring resident welcome and engagement protocols are in place.
• Assist in keeping records and inventory of supplies.
• May be required to assist driving the community van to transport residents to and from, off or on campus activities.
