Job Title: Active Ingredient Technician Monolayer
Location: Athens, GA
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 4am-2:30pm


Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an Active Ingredient Technician Monolayer. Ideal candidates should have at least a high school diploma and basic understanding of aseptic technique and clean room procedures.


Responsibilities
• Perform activities related to the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
• Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills
• Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances
• Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives
• Assess individual performance in relation to continuous improvement (AAI)
• Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of aseptic technique and clean room procedures
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Basic math skills and troubleshooting skills for equipment/automation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Preferred: Biology degree or related field, with one or more years of laboratory or manufacturing experience
