Pay: $64-67/hr.
Description:
The ActiveDirectory senior engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise-level ActiveDirectory (AD) environments. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant identity and access management across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Deploy and manage ActiveDirectory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and organizational units.
Deploy and manage 14 applications supporting ActiveDirectory.
Update software and configurations to address vulnerabilities.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex AD issues, including authentication, replication, and access control.
Develop, update and enforce security standards for AD, including privileged access management and audit logging.
Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and application teams to integrate AD with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance for AD operations and best practices.
Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments related to identity and access management.
Manage workload in Jira using Agile principles.
Required qualifications
Extensive experience with ActiveDirectory administration in large enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies.
Proven ability to design and implement secure AD architectures.
Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
Familiarity with IAM frameworks, privileged access management, and compliance requirements.
Preferred skills
Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and cloud integrations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Experience with HyperV Management.
Must Haves:
5 + years ActiveDirectory Engineering
Power Shell Scripting
Experience with Domain Controller Virtualization.
Experience building domain controllers
Experience with Domain Controller Management/Administration
Experience using Jira
Experience working in Agile environment.
Pay: $64-67/hr.
