Terros Health is hiring an ACT Peer Support Specialist for our 23rd Ave Health Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Additional $2/hour ACT differential pay

Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health preferred (not required)
State Peer Support Certification required - we can help you obtain this upon hire!
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (Additional Language Differential Pay Available)
Must have very flexible schedule as this team provides treatment 7 days/week, including weekends and holidays

Additional language pay differential
Education/Experience:
GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of behavioral health experience, or
An associates degree in the field of behavioral, or
A bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, or
A bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral health, or
A master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health.
Peer Support Certification (Required)
Three years working as a Peer Support Specialist preferred.
Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for at least 1 - 3 years and/or first-hand experience with family members with serious mental illness and/or chronic disease
Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy.
Must have a valid, unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or apply for one within 7 working days of employment.
Must understand and utilize a recovery approach and philosophy.
Exemplify great customer service and motivational skills.
Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions.
Must be able to work on a computer and tablet in Microsoft Office, with electronic medical records and in NextGen.
Provide services in a clinical setting and in the community, as well as weekend and holiday coverage.
Must pass a typing assessment with a speed of at least 25 wpm.
