The Acquisition Analyst position is responsible for providing support to Departmental-level acquisition processes. The Acquisition Analyst also works to ensure that the Department's acquisition process is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
This role will be fully remote.
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$125,000.00. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Acquisition Analyst provides support in all aspects of the acquisition and grants lifecycle process within the program office to assist with the management and execution procurement/contract actions, programmatic initiatives, and process automations and reporting. Efforts include but are not limited to:
Program strategic planning and communications
Program budget planning, tracking, and reporting
Analysis, reporting, and implementation support of strategic initiatives
Leadership of Integrated Project Teams (IPT)
Process documentation, process improvements, and automations
Data analytics and reporting
Advanced acquisition planning and forecasting
Conducting market and acquisition strategy research
Complete solicitation package development to include the development of the Acquisition Plan, Market Research Report, Statement of Objectives (SOO)/Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS), Evaluation Criteria, Independent Government Cost Estimate, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, Contracting Officer Representative Nomination, Justifications and Approvals (J&A), and additional documents, as needed
Proposal evaluation
Analysis of cost and price
Award recommendations
Post-award administration
Contract closeout in accordance with applicable rules, policies, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s Degree
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in federal contract administration (pre-award) procurement package development/requirements development experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in government or corporate acquisition, strategic planning, budgeting, analysis or process documentation.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, problem solving, and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials.
Attention to detail, high standards of excellence and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully.
Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated project team.
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, and Departmental regulations, where applicable
Proficiency in Microsoft Power platform- Forms, Lists, SharePoint, Automate, PowerApps, and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field
Experience with developing procurement packages for goods, services, and construction in the agricultural or transportation sectors
Experience with government procurement software systems
Experience with procurement data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
PMP or FAC P/PM certification preferred
CSAW (Civilian Service Acquisition Workshop) training preferred
