These critical roles serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, driving high-visibility decisions across the complete acquisition lifecycle for major weapon systems and services.
The Acquisition & Program Manager plays a critical strategic role, delivering expert agency-wide and program-specific analysis across the entire lifecycle of major weapon systems and services. The successful candidate will direct core acquisition functions—including risk management, baseline support, and comprehensive planning—while ensuring all overarching strategies are optimized for formal review before Acquisition Strategy Panels (ASP) and Acquisition Strategy Boards (ASB).
The position demands an expert communicator capable of authoring complex executive briefings, managing high-visibility engagements with external defense industry partners, and driving agency action trackers to successful completion.
