Preparation and review of analysis presentations, reports and databases.\n \n\n Presentation of analysis results at internal and external working group meetings.\n \n\n Coordinate and conduct at-sea experimental reconstruction activities, including acoustic signal analysis & performance improvement analyses in support of cross-functional system engineering and development teams within the Environmental Sciences Laboratory.\n \n\n Other related functions as assigned.\n \n\n \nRequired Qualifications\n\n Bachelor's degree.\n \n\n Four years of operational experience in the employment and expert analysis of U.S. Navy sonar systems.\n \n\n Demonstrated ability to reconstruct and analyze active and passive sonar data.\n \n\n Demonstrated ability to develop acoustic collection plans and deliver briefings to Senior U.S. Navy commands.\n \n\n Work as a team member, independently, with peers, clients, and management.\n \n\n Direct sponsor and peer contact.\n \n\n Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.\n \n\n \nUS Citizen. Selected applicant is subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at level appropriate to project requirements of the position.\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n\n More than 10 years of operational experience in the employment and expert analysis of U.S. Navy sonar systems above.\n \n\n Experience briefing and advising Command level Officers and senior civilian personnel.\n \n\n Extensive experience in U.S. Navy surface ship and submarine anti- submarine warfare (ASW) operations such as possession of U.S Navy ASW Specialist or Sonar Supervisor qualifications.\n \n\n Extensive experience with Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems (IUSS) sensors and operations such as possession of U.S. Navy IUSS Master Qualification.\n \n\n Qualification as U.S. Navy Master Training Specialist or equivalent experience.\n \n\n Knowledge and operational experience current and planned U.S. Navy sonar systems and Advanced Processor Build (APB) and Advanced Capability Build (ACB) sonar systems.\n \n\n Experience with MATLAB, Python or similar programming languages.\n \n\n \nGeneral Notes\n \nAn agency designated by the federal government handles the investigation as to the requirement for eligibility for access to classified information.
