An established and growing manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a high-volume accounting team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across billing, collections, and cash application.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume customer invoicing and ensure billing accuracy
Post daily cash receipts and manage cash application activities
Monitor and maintain AR aging; proactively follow up on outstanding balances
Perform collections via phone and email while maintaining strong customer relationships
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and deductions
Reconcile customer accounts and support month-end close activities
Generate AR reports and communicate account status to internal stakeholders
Partner with sales, operations, and customer service to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications:
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Experience with high-volume transactions and fast-paced workflows
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar preferred)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
