Responsibilities: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing construction billing, collections, and account reconciliations for a growing company in the Triad. This person will work closely with Project Managers, customers, and internal accounting staff to process AIA and progress billings, track lien waivers and retainage, and ensure all project financial information is accurate and up to date. The role is heavily focused on accounts receivable activities, including posting payments, monitoring aging reports, researching discrepancies, and reconciling customer accounts. * 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience within the construction industry or a related subcontracting environment
* Hands-on experience with AIA billing, progress billing, lien waivers, and retainage tracking
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 300 CRE is required
* Experience with account reconciliations, collections, and construction billing processes
* Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, vendors, and customers
