The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to process improvements within the accounting function. This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $45,000 55,000, along with the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This position is based out of Anchors Charlottesville, VA office./ppHow youll contribute:/pulliReconcile and deposit tenant rent payments and maintain tenant ledgers./liliAssist with billing and invoicing to tenants and other customers./liliWork within the accounting enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to correct errors, ensure accuracy, and respond to inquiries from tenants and teammates./liliCollaborate with property management team on collecting past due rent and notifying tenants of insufficient payments./liliHandle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring that all invoices, payments, and correspondence are properly distributed to the appropriate departments or individuals./liliPrepare certain financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends./liliResolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, requesting checks to be reissued, and making adjustments./liliMaintain financial security by following internal accounting controls./liliAssist with documenting policies and maintaining up to date records of processes and procedures./liliContribute to larger team efforts by accomplishing special projects as needed./liliCross train with other members of accounting team to provide backup as needed./li/ulpWhat you bring:/pulliAssociate degree preferred or equivalent experience./lili1 - 3 years of accounting or administrative experience preferred./liliExperience with Yardi a plus./liliHigh degree of accuracy./liliGreat attention to detail./liliStrong customer service skills./liliAbility to juggle multiple priorities in an efficient and organized manner./liliClear and concise communication skills, both written and oral./liliAbility to solve problems and apply logic to a variety of situations./liliStrong data entry skills./liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus./li/ulpDoes this sound like you?
