Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Pay: $22-$24/hr
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, M-F
Start Date: ASAP

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing billing, collections, and customer account accuracy. You’ll work closely with the accounting, customer service, and sales teams to ensure smooth financial operations and excellent customer experiences.
What You’ll Do:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing accurate and timely customer invoices and process credits, returns, and pre-authorizations.
  •  Resolving billing discrepancies by collaborating with customers and internal teams.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances and delinquent accounts.
  • Securing payment commitments, escalate issues as needed, and manage account holds.
  • Applying incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) and resolve short payments or deductions.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and support account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with credit applications, credit checks, and setting appropriate credit limits.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1–5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to analyze accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred, not required

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Cleveland and offers regular business hours- Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
