IDR is seeking a Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on healthcare revenue cycle management, handling accounts receivable processes within a busy healthcare setting. The position involves managing billing, collections, and resolving insurance denials, ensuring smooth financial operations.
Position Overview for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:
- Responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable department, including processing customer invoicing and payments.
- Communicates effectively with customers to collect overdue payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Uses relevant software programs to process invoices, record data, and support the accounting team.
- Handles customer inquiries via phone professionally and performs backup duties as needed.
- Supports project-based assignments with a focus on improving revenue cycle processes.
Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:
- Minimum of a high school degree with accounting experience.
- Experience working with healthcare-specific accounts receivable, including claims processing and payer interactions.
- Knowledge of EOBs, insurance denials, and claim types such as Medicare or Medicaid.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant ERP systems.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
