Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: In office at our Sherman Oaks CA location

Full-time, temporary, with potential for regular employment: 40 hours/Week Wage: $20/HR

Hours: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday*

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization's cash flow through timely invoicing. This is a temporary position that may lead to regular employment, depending on business needs and performance.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, post, and reconcile customer payments

  • Apply payments to customer accounts accurately

  • Process checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card transactions and other forms of payments

  • Assist with month-end and mid-month reports

  • *if month end falls on weekend, may require 4-5 hours on weekend

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

  • Support continuous improvement efforts within accounting processes

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
  • Quick learner, reliable, teamwork mentality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Efficiency with 10-key.
  • Ability to work on weekends if month end falls on weekend.
  • Knowledge of outlook and excel.
  • Experience with CUBS is a plus.
