Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering high-quality healthcare solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support their growing accounting team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr - $22/hr

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist with day-to-day AR functions, including processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1 - 2 years of accounting experience who is looking to advance their career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
  • Process and post customer payments accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Generate invoices, credit memos, and account statements.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Assist with month-end closing and AR reporting.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
  • 1+ year of Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Billing, or Finance experience (internships considered).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with cash applications, collections, or account reconciliations.
  • Recent college graduates with accounting internships are encouraged to apply.
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
