Accounts Receivable Billing & Collections Analyst

A Day in the Life

Based in Baldwin County, you’ll be the go-to partner for turning invoices into timely payments and keeping our customer balances accurate. Your morning may start by reviewing overnight remittances, then reconciling accounts and following up on a few open items. By afternoon, you’re polishing up AR reports, collaborating with finance on month-end tasks, and refining billing steps that help cash hit our bank faster. It’s detailed, fast-moving work—and the backbone of our financial health.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, ensuring invoices go out quickly and correctly.
• Track customer balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Prepare clear, accurate AR reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Communicate with clients about outstanding balances, payment terms, and timelines.
• Partner with the finance team to streamline billing workflows and boost cash flow.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and AR-related entries.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all receivables activity.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting role.
• Solid grounding in core accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and QuickBooks skills are preferred.
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Clear, courteous communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort working independently as well as within a team.
• High school diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s in finance or accounting is a plus. Bookkeeping background preferred.
