The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment responsible for filing, accounts payable entry, check run processing, credit card coding and processing, assist in month end close, and other duties as assigned.Responsibilities/DutiesCoding and entry of vendor invoicesResearching payments to vendorsResponding to vendor inquiriesScanning/Filing of accounts payable recordsProcessing weekly check runsCredit card coding and processingProcessing monthly rentsAssisting with timely month-end closeOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in accounts payable and/or currently working on accounting degreeExcellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED1-2 years accounting experiencePhysical RequirementsPosition requires working at a desk at an office for periods of time up to eight hours.Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
