LHH is assisting a client with their need for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a stable team in a direct hire role. Responsibilities

· Process a invoices accurately and in a timely manner

· Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system

· Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, as applicable

· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries

· Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup

· Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities

· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals and timely payment processing

· Assist with ad hoc projects and other general accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

· 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience required

· Some general ledger accounting experience preferred.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work fully onsite in South Charlotte

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
