LHH is assisting a client with their need for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a stable team in a direct hire role. Responsibilities
- Process a invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, as applicable
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
- Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup
- Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals and timely payment processing
- Assist with ad hoc projects and other general accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience required
- Some general ledger accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work fully onsite in South Charlotte
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
