LHH is assisting a client with their need for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a stable team in a direct hire role. Responsibilities

  • Process a invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, as applicable
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
  • Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup
  • Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals and timely payment processing
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and other general accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience required
  • Some general ledger accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work fully onsite in South Charlotte
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
