Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Finance) Job Location: Canton Crossing, Baltimore, MD (100% Remote) Job Type: Contract We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team! This role is perfect for someone with strong full-cycle AP experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do: Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable: coding, posting, matching invoices, and maintaining AP ledgers. Partner with internal/external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Support month-end close, GL reconciliation, and prepare cash requirement reports. Train and mentor junior AP team members. Assist with audits, documentation, and cross-functional financial operations. Provide leadership support in the Supervisor’s absence. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles & GL/AP processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database/query tools (Access, SQL, Yardi) Excellent communication & customer service skills Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Experience with Oracle or Ariba is a plus Education: High School Diploma required In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree: 4 additional years of AP experience ***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment.
