Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support a fast-paced accounting team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working with accounting software in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, payment requests, and accounts payable transactions
Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
Enter and verify financial data within company accounting systems
Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries
Assist with annual physical inventory counts and periodic audits
Generate and review reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts payable environment
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar platforms
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and data analysis
Skills & Abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
Excellent mathematical and data entry skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information

Additional Requirements

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
