We are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to support the company's financial operations by ensuring high-volume vendor invoices and expense transactions are processed accurately and on time. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring all financial records are properly documented and kept up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Enter invoice data into the accounting system, including proper coding and required documentation
  • Match invoices to supporting documents such as purchase orders and receipts
  • Process and review employee expense reports in accordance with company guidelines
  • Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and on time using standard payment methods (e.g., ACH, checks)
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve basic invoice or payment issues in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Must be available to start immediately
  • Strong understanding of high-volume AP processing and workflows
  • Experience working with invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal support interactions
