Job DescriptionSummarySpire Alabama is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day‑to‑day accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong internal controls. This role partners closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues efficiently and support month‑end close activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, payment runs, voids, and reissues accurately and on timeResolve invoice discrepancies, matching errors, and payment holdsRespond to internal and external vendor inquiries in a timely mannerAssist with account reconciliations, vendor statement reviews, and month‑end closeSupport internal and external audits and SOX control requirementsMaintain accurate records within ERP systems (e.g., Oracle and/or SAP)We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
