Accounts Payable Specialist

The Carpenter Health Network in Baton Rouge, LA is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team!

Duties include:

• Review vendor invoices, verifying proper approvals, and process invoices for payment. • Ensure approval levels of all invoices. • Ensure invoices and employee reimbursements are paid accurately and timely. • Responsible for the disbursement of invoice checks. • Review Accounts Payable for missing invoices. • Resolve any vendor discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. At least one year of medical experience, home health or hospice experience preferred. Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets is essential. Experience using Bill.com preferred. Must be detail-focused, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
