Three (3) to five (5) years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience is required. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of Office applications and with accounting and financial management systems is required. Proficiency in other NYSBA software such as Fonteva/Salesforce and Concur or Intacct are preferred. Experience in a non-profit, association or membership-based organization is preferred. A High School diploma is required. An associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and problem-solving skills. Strong data entry and reconciliation skills, and the ability to handle confidential information are also required.
