Accounts Payable / Receivables Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable  Receivables & Billing clerk to join our team at St Pete Mitsubishi. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience in accounting and be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks. 

Qualifications:

• DealerTrack or similar DMS gives you an advantage.
• The ability to work independently using good judgment, and as a team player.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work well with others.
• Pleasant telephone manner with an upbeat and friendly demeanor.
• Resourceful, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.
• Adept at time management.
• Trustworthy, honest, respectful, and flexible.
• A desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to be entrusted with confidential information.

Responsibilities:

• Verify sales/finance paperwork and post deals.
• Code, post and pay all invoices.
• Manage receivables, including collections.
• Handle daily deposits.
• Work on special projects for other departments at the approval of the Accounting Manager.
• Support other administrative staff within the company as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
