Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable/accounting professional experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and database functions
- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, including BILL and Sage Intacct
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous staff management and team leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
- Manage and mentor accounts payable staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
- Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and 1099 reporting compliance
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate payment terms when appropriate
