P&K Stone is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to support our accounting team during the summer. This temporary position is ideal for a college student or someone looking to gain office and accounting experience. The AP Assistant will help with invoice processing, filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices into NetSuite accurately and timely.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Organize and file Accounts Payable documents.
- Assist with vendor statement reconciliation.
- Scan and upload invoices and supporting documents.
- Respond to basic vendor inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or currently enrolled in college (Accounting or Business preferred).
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous office or accounting experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
- Part-time (20–30 hours per week)
- Temporary summer position
- Monday through Friday (schedule may be flexible)
Pay: $17 - $19 per hour (based on experience)
