Sunday River is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will need to be a detail-oriented problem solver and demonstrate proficiency with numbers. The AP Clerk will be in contact with individuals both internal and external of the Organization and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines established by the Accounting Team. The position will report to the AP Manager.
Responsibilities:· Process all payment requests in a timely manner including, but not limited to, vendor invoices, etc. through our accounting purchasing platforms
· Maintain relationships with various internal and external customers and team members to answer questions and resolve issues
· Filing and opening daily mail
· Processing weekly check run, and mailing payments timely
· Perform the cash room duties as backup
· Working vendor statements as time allows
· Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
