Responsibilities:
  • Works with large volume and high activity vendors on a daily basis.
  • Matches invoices to related Purchase Orders in ERP system to process for payment.
  • Checks invoices for price discrepancies and quality errors.
  • Notifies Purchasing and/or ordering department of discrepancies noted.
  • Researches and responds to inquiries about invoices from vendors and departments.
  • Verifies that vendor information is correct before processing invoices.
  • Verifies that all required approvals are in place before an item is processed for payment.
  • Reviews open voucher report and determines any issues that need to be resolved and completes as needed.
  • Reviews status reports for paid and/or unpaid items and follows-up on uncompleted items on a timely basis.
  • Maintains vendor folders in AP group email.
  • Reviews vendor statements and resolves open invoices, unapplied credits, and other discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with appropriate customer relations via email and/or telephone.
  • Requires minimal supervision to safely perform essential functions.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
Additional Information:

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience, one year of which was in accounts payable. Required
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
