Accounts Payable Clerk I - Portland

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our NW Portland team! This position will be part of the finance team and responsible for a range of duties to support a wide scope of the day-to-day administrative operations.

Carson is seeking an experienced, hands-on, self-motivated employee with a proven ability to provide extremely accurate and timely data entry in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that invoices are entered correctly and Carson vendors are paid accurately and timely.

Job duties

• Ensuring all invoices are entered and approved for payment
• Entering misc. invoices into the ERP system.
• Weekly check run backup
• Reconcile Inventory invoices, verifying pricing and tax variances
• Reconcile EFT payments to invoices
• Backup as needed for other AP positions
• Reconciling vendor statements
• Working with various departments to ensure the most accurate and timely processing of our payables

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum two years data entry experience
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented, self-starter with a can-do attitude
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Software Experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time, priorities and meet deadlines
• Superior follow up skills
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
