Accounts Payable Administrator, Corporate U.S.
Position Overview:
- Location: Troy, MI 48098
- Schedule: Fully onsite for the first 90 days, then hybrid (3 days onsite)
- Duration: 9-month contract with potential extension to 12-month contract
- Conversion: No direct-hire opportunity at this time
- Interview Process: 30–45 minute Teams interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, code, and review invoices
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and updates
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Generate and analyze AP aging reports
- Process vendor payments via check, EFT, and wire transfers
- Support audits and accounting projects
- Handle complex invoice postings involving multiple intercompany divisions
- Assist with implementation of Purchase Order processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
Required:
- 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience (automotive manufacturing preferred)
- Full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
- Experience processing vendor payments in USD
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Automotive manufacturing environment experience
- Experience with multi-entity/intercompany accounting
- Exposure to EFT, wire transfers, and multi-currency payments
- Proven success managing high transaction volumes and tight deadlines
