We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AP/AR Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handle high volume invoices, and manage vendor payments while optimizing payment terms and discounts.

Responsibilities:

The AP/AR Analyst will be responsible for:

1. Managing the 3 Way Match process to ensure proper documentation and approval before payment.
2. Processing high volume invoices accurately and timely.
3. Managing vendor payments (ACH, wire, check) while optimizing payment terms and discounts.
4. Generating and issuing invoices for customer orders promptly and accurately.
5. Applying cash receipts and ensuring timely and accurate recording of payments.
6. Monitoring credit limits to mitigate financial risk.
7. Leading collections efforts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
8. Reconciling AP/AR subledgers to the general ledger, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
9. Assisting with month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the AP/AR Analyst position should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
5. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
6. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
7. Experience with financial software and systems is a plus.
8. A strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
